急~！！！收到法庭的信，不知所措，请各位懂法律的朋友帮帮忙~

收到法庭的一封信（不确定是不是法庭的，第一页是起诉人律师的信，然后是Plaintiff's Claim Form，列出了起诉人和被起诉人的一些信息，然后第三页是To the defendants,列出了我欠landlord的钱数（搬离apartment前，没有给提前60天notice，landlord让在交2个月的房租，由于上大学必须搬离，而且没有那么多钱，所以没交，一起签约的同学由于回国不回来了，他们找不到他，所以就来找我，我跟他们说我只交我那份，可是他们说it doesn't work in that way.想问问我这个要求是否合理呢？）然后是让我file a defence with the court within 20 days after i received this claim.如果我不这样做，judgment may be entered against me.
想问问，这个defence要怎么写，写完后再怎么办？寄给法庭，还是怎么样？不去理它，不写defence也不寄可以吗？因为我实在没有那多钱（$4000多），就算他们告我，可是我还是没有那么多钱，而且他们也不同意我只交我那一份，我可以置之不理吗？还有就是“judgment may be entered against me”是什么意思？（我的英文太烂了）谢谢各位朋友了~！！！
