電視新聞看到的一個問題

今天電視新聞出現一個問題。共和黨其中一位候選人評擊另一位候選人。指該候選人雖然父母都是美國人，而他其實在加拿大出生。質疑對手並非native born citizen，而無資格參選總統。而另一位候選人就自辯海外出生都是native born citizen。究竟哪個對？ 總統資格如此critical的東西該不會灰色地帶吧？
