同学们，分财产的时候是这样的

这对夫妻就一栋房子，分开了肯定买不成两个房子。

这个时候，法院就会要求both parties maximum their earnability,这个earnability 会直接 link mortgage raisability

就下面这个案子来讲，女的没工作带孩子，根据英国法律，小孩的离婚首先考虑的，我觉得美国也应该是这样的。这样那个妈妈没有办法raise mortage，就会拿到substantial equity of the house,能买个小的flat 那个爸爸因为有工作，能raise mortage，所以不会分很多。这就是西方国家法律的根本，保护的永远是低收入的弱势群体。

所以，下面要女方急着找工作是对女方不利了，弄个full time 工作，没时间好好照顾小孩，分到的equity也不多，把自己弄得这么累，苦日子还在后头呢。

所以我建议妹妹不要急着找工作，等离婚搞定了再找不迟，就这么低的年薪，哪儿找不到，到中餐馆打工都能挣到，急什么！
