求教：Telephone interview后需不需要写感谢信？

今天跟一个心仪的公司的team lead做了telephone interview，一共分三个部分：他的技术提问，我的自我介绍，最后是我问一些关于公司的问题。他问的技术问题我答得还可以，后来两部分感觉不错。他说他会跟技术经理汇报，然后安排下个星期或者再下个星期进行3个小时的技术考试，如果考得好，最后是跟人事部谈offer.

今天只是做了telephone interview，最后是我有说：please bring me into the technical test.在这种情况下，我现在还需要给他写封thank you letter吗？我是有点担心他会不会让我去进行技术考试。
