I asked one of the doctors why flash is so serious since every doctor asked me if there are any flashes, he explained teared retina flapping around causing flash.

Maybe not all flash are caused by retina tear.

Given his floaters are worsen and he has flash, this is the scenario that my retina specialist would want me to call him right away.
