If you look at health and longevity data on a population scale for generations ( which should provide better and more reliable information about diets and health), population with mixed diets, such as the Mediterranean diets, have better health and longevity. I am not aware of any population that consume pure plant-based diets for generations. But I am not against 终身吃素, it is your health, and you should make your own decison based on science.
