Slept about 4-5 hours last night, this was probably the best I’ve slept since this started. Night sweats are still occurring, leading to chills and a general reluctance to getting out of bed. However, it’s best to motivate oneself to shower and start the day.
My weight loss continues -- total weight loss since this started, about 12 pounds. This is despite eating 2-3 full meals a day.
Temperature remains stable at 96.9 and oxygen at 96-97%.
I was able to reach 3000 mL on the spirometer on my first try this morning.
I did another 100-ft ascent without any problems today and decided to move my downstairs TV to my room (I have a new one waiting to be set up downstairs).
I also changed all my sheets, and duvet cover. All this activity has left me a bit winded, but my SpO2 reading is at 98%.
After this activity, I can register only 2500 mL on the spirometer. I’ll try again when things calm down a bit. I tried a bit later and was able to set a new record (3100 mL).
Day 20, Saturday, December 26, 2020
About 4-5 hours of sleep last night with sweating and chills, but no fever and oxygen levels remained stable at 96%.
I never had loss of sense of taste or smell, but I am beginning to have this eerie metallic taste and smell. It’s not unbearable but seems to be new.
Weight loss continues
Morning spirometer, 2700 mL
I will likely end the account here if there aren’t any major changes to my symptoms or my health. I have two more days of Dexamethasone (steroids) left, and I plan to resume work on Monday.
