It only apply a type of lab created food: "incorporating soluble fiber inulin, but not insoluble fiber, into a compositionally defined diet, induced icteric hepatocellular carcinoma". We know most of natural food contains both soluble and insoluble fibers. This kind of research is most likely "garbage in, garbage out".
