AST and ALT high

Today got blood test result and found those two results are both high. Last blood test was done Sep, 2015, both are normal, wonder why suddently those two results jump high (almost double than before). Search online, it seems both values are related to liver, does that mean I need to check for my liver? never drink. Does thyroid mediation causes liver damage?
