请教大家，血小板低有特殊的治疗方法吗？谢谢！

国内家里的一个老朋友快70岁了，查出血小板低，大概38，吃药后会提升到80多，据说100是正常值。他想看看美国这边有没有什么特效药？一般怎么治疗？谢谢！
