我不是非常清楚，但我的猜测是它被当作一种“正常态”而看待了。
文人最初引用的那篇1922年的文章里也提到：gastroptosis is a condition, not a disease。It is so frequetly found that it can hardly be called an anormaly. It should be termed as a physical characteristic。
所以我猜测，如果不存在胃动力不足等其他病理状态，胃下垂可能被当作一种生理变异而被接受为常态。
当然这只是我的一厢猜测，具体还要咨询胃肠专科的。
