5 years ago, when I had my second child, I was borderline pregnancy diabetes. I monitored it for a while and did not take any medicine.
I love ice cream and any sweets. Sometimes I do not eat dinner but sweats. Very bad! Now I stopped eating ice cream and sweets.
I wonder what I can eat now, and how much sugar I can take in a day. Is there anywhere I can get some nubmer?
For example, I like to eat "sweet peas", especially "petite peas". When I check the food nutrition, a bag of pea has 18 - 30g sugar. Sometimes I ca eat a bag of peas for dinner (nothing else). I googled, and the sugar in peas is a good type of sugar.
I saw someone said 15g sugar a day for a diabetes. And two banana will have 15g sugar. Does that mean I can not eat fruit such as apple, banana ...? Feel horrible
Any suggestion?
Thanks
