求帕金森治疗方法

我爸爸60岁时得了帕金森，症状是右胳膊抖得厉害，且肌肉僵直，今年78岁了。十八年来，虽经多方诊治，病情仍然缓慢发展，去年出现了药物的开关现象，就是每天有几次药物不起作用，全身失去控制，每次大约半个小时，病人无法自理，很痛苦。国内医生建议在脑部安装脑起搏器，我们不了解安装后效果如何，能起到多大的改善，是否有副作用。
哪位能帮忙出出主意，是否安装脑起搏器。十分感谢！
