3 sources of calories: Carbs,Fat,and Protein

Transferring carbs (especially simple carbs) into energy is the least efficient way and the energy doesn't last long. High carb foods provide quick energy and cause insulin spike and unstable blood sugar. Since I stopped eating high carb foods I have been having more energy than before. I get energy from vegetables, low carb fruits, and protein (with low-medium fat). I will not go back to the high carb low protein diet.
