eyeglass prescription - how to read?

想请教在美国拿到的视力检查结果该如何读。如是-7.25，就是国内说的725度吗？

O.D               -7.25 (spherical)   -0.75 (cylindrical)      157 (axis)
O.S               -6.25 (spherical)   -0.75 (cylindrical)      167 (axis)
