1. Start Carbamazepine 200 mg BID, gradually increase to 400 mg BID, measure the blood level before increasing the dose
2. If Carbamazepine is not working, try Trileptal (Oxcarbazepine), start from 300 mg BID, can increase to 1200 mg BID gradually
3. Can Add Baclofen 10 mg TID if above medication is not working
4. Look for a second Neurosurgeon to the surgery or use radiofrequency to destroy the nerve.
