I had a fall days ago, hit my rib on the last step of stairs, it was so painful so I went to ER, had a xray, finished everything in 2 hours. the ER doctor told me that I had contusion, no special treatment, control pain only. (I know that already).

one day later, I got a call from ER nurse, told me that I did have a non displacement fracture on my rib, no need for special treatment, she emphysized. "OK, thank you". that was what I said to the nurse. But I know that with the fracture, I should lift heavy stuff.
