为什么我的医生老是建议我做胃镜?-请进来帮我看看.

上周五我做了钡餐,当时有倆个人负责我的钡餐TEST,一个人管拍片,一个人看片子.到最后做完是,那个看片子的医生跟我说一切ＯＫ，没发现什么.可是下午接到我的胃科医生的电话,我但是在外面,让他SEND EMAIL 给我.下面是他的EMAIL

"Your small bowel study shows that is essentially normal, but your stomach is slightly distended. This may or may not be important. I still believe that you should undergo upper endoscopy, but you have been wanting to wait. The upper endoscopy will let us know if you have any problems in your stomach. If you wish to schedule, please call the office and let them know that you would like to have an EGD.".

我的毛病是有是饭后(或几个小时后)正胸口轻微疼,背也会疼.不是经常性的.好象饿了也会疼的.

我还需要去做这个ENDOSCOPY吗? 听说好多人做了这个之后,由于医生的技术不到位,把食管或胃弄疼或出血.好可怕.我记的我的一位医生曾跟我说过我的食管很小.
