回复：美国有针灸执照、无中药处方执照

在http://www.nccaom.org/home.htm的考试分针灸和草药，分别给与certificates。虽然只有针灸执照，但是在德州申请针灸执照就要求草药。下面是州政府对申请针灸师执照的要求：

Licensure Requirements

Information on licensure requirements is available under Board Rules Section Chapter 183, Section 183.4 Procedural Rules for Licensure Applicants. The following is paraphrased from that rule. We encourage you to read the entire rule.

Submit an application for licensure.
Submit $305 application fee.
Have 1,800 hours of Acupuncture training from an accredited acupuncture school.
Have 450 hours of the required 1,800 hours of training must be in herbal training.
Graduated from an accredited acupuncture school.
Take and pass the full NCCAOM examination, which if taken before June 1, 2004, includes the Comprehensive Written Exam (CWE), the Clean Needle Technique Portion (CNTP), the Practical Examination of Point Location Skills (PEPLS), and the Chinese Herbology Exam. If taken on or after June 1, 2004, includes the NCCAOM Foundation of Oriental Medicine Module, Acupuncture Module, Point Location Module, and the Chinese Herbology Module.
Take and pass the CCAOM Clean Needle Technique Course and Practical Examination.
Take and pass the jurisprudence examination, for applications submitted on or after 10/1/2007
Have 60 college hours in addition to the acupuncture training.
Prove English Proficiency.

虽然没有单独中药的license，但是在这里实质上还是针灸和草药在一个license 下面。 而且到美国人开的中药店抓药，必须要有有照的中医的处方才行。当然到中国人开的药店就不一样。

美国各个州的情况不一样，也许你所在的州开中药可以随便开。请问你在哪个州？
