1. is late-delayed radiation toxicity ruled out? 5% of patients who received >5000 cGy /w daily fraction size >200 cGy may develop radiation necrosis. It appears as an enhancing mass lesion /w diffuse white matter lesion on MRI. PET will help to differentiate.

2) over time, low grade astrocytoma have the potential to differentiate into more malignant forms of glioma. About 85% pt may eventually progress to GBM. Median survival is 8-10 years. try the city of hope in CA. enjoy life
