This is what I googled :

an MRI with MRCP (Magnetic Resonance Cholangiopancreatography) is typically recommended, as it provides detailed images of both the pancreatic tissue and the pancreatic and bile ducts. While a standard MRI can be useful for staging pancreatic cancer, MRCP is better suited for visualizing the ducts, which are often affected in pancreatic conditions.
