EXAM: US PELVIS COMPLETE
HISTORY: Uterine leiomyoma.
TECHNIQUE: Transabdominal images of the pelvis were performed.
COMPARISON: Ultrasound dated 5/16/2018
FINDINGS: The uterus measures 11.8 x 8.0 x 7.8 cm. The myometrial echotexture is within normal limits.
A 8.2 x 6.6 x 7.3 cm heterogeneous, echogenic transmural mass with poorly defined margins is appreciated. Minimal flow seen within the lesion on Doppler. The mass appears larger relative to the prior, previously measuring
7.5 x 6.5 x 6.7 cm. The mass distorts the endometrial stripe. Where seen, endometrial stripe thickness measures 1.0 cm in thickness Right ovary measures 2.7 x 2.4 x 1.7 cm. Left ovary measures 3.1 x 2.3 x 1.8 cm. Normal follicular pattern and
ovarian blood flow demonstrated. There is no ascites. No adnexal cysts or masses are demonstrated. IMPRESSION: Nonspecific transmural mass distorting the endometrial stripe. The mass has increased in size
relative to the prior. Contrast-enhanced pelvic MRI is recommended for further evaluation.
