有两个因素让孕妇易发急性胆囊炎,特别是怀孕前就有胆结石的人.但一定会发炎吗？那倒不一定.概率是多少呢？还无法清楚地界定.

1.Displaced stomach and intestines: The growing uterus and fetus push them backward and sideways. About halfway through pregnancy, displacement is enough to slow intestinal peristalsis and, stomach emptying and trap bile in the gallbladder, which can change its composition and cause gallstones to form.

2. Changes within the gallbladder: Gallbladder volume and residual volume after eating are twice as great during pregnancy, so emptying may be incomplete. Hormone changes may increase the bile's cholesterol content and contribute to gallstone development.

你能做的就是: 

告诉你的OB你的所有病史,包括有胆结石;

注意均衡饮食(足够的蛋白质.别吃太油),每天多喝水,怀孕期间多走动,多变换姿势.尤其是从事电脑工作者,常起身活动;

注意右上腹部的疼痛,别忍.轻微时就给OB打电话.让你吃药(止痛药/抗生素.你放心,OB知道什么药是孕妇能吃的)就遵医嘱吃来控制,不要拖.中度--非常痛时赶快进ER,查血(看elevated serum transaminase(ALT,AST) and bilirubin levels),做Ultrasound of the gallbladder.没必要手术时(一般孕中期较少手术.If the surgeon takes a wait-and-see approach)一般也是止痛药/抗生素/IV antiemetics + IV fluids for hydration来控制疼痛和炎症.严重时也会做 laparoscopic cholecystectomy,也都生下健康的宝宝,给ER/OR的医生护士寄来有宝宝照片的致谢卡~~.
