请教：马兰头（食物）和作为中药的马兰是一种植物吗？

去年朋友给的，种在菜地里，秋天的时候开了小小的菊花样的粉色的花。今年春天出了很多，第一次采摘，并第一次试做了香干马兰头，和过去在上海吃的味道差不多。中药马兰链接

Wiki说在美国马兰只产于夏威夷（链接），这东西不怕冷啊，深感困惑。
