Should I give 2-week notice?

working in a company for about 4 months and then realized the boss is je*k. so decided to leave. Now, try to stay calm in the company and do whatever I'm supposed to work. I decided to quit in this weekend. Should I just email HR and tell them I'm leaving and will not go to work on Monday? or better give 2-week notice? Any suggestions? thanks
