I want to make it very clear to every Chinese here: please study your local employment law. I know in most state of USA, it is already illegal for any employer asking employee regarding age & pregnancy. It IS the LAW.
I can see most Chinese at this website don't know the law in USA seriously. I'm also feeling not many Chinese have direct experience with EEOC or other state agency. Since our generation of Chinese only came to study & work in USA about 20 years ago..., with most of us major in IT, I can say we don't know the law good enough to protect our right, to understand our right in USA even if someone are US citizen.
it is a sad situation and it makes me keep thinking why live in USA aimlessly if as a citizen one doesn't regard USA as his/her home permanently, and don't know his/her right & liability under the law!
it is illegal to ask employee's
