In this case,

the old man's target is not me, but my boss. However he is going to use me to get to my boss. Teh key is he will say that I did not carry out the team's decision. my argument was my supervisor told me the decision was XXX, which seems different from the team's. And I forwarded a goverment guideline to them and this scared the old man out of his wits. said he was offended that I felt he was pressing me to do anything I did not feel comfortable. Funny thing, I just found out that I never received the team's decision. It was made while I was on vacation and never got one in writing. my supervisor was my only source of information now. isn't that funny?
