为了儿子，美国还是日本？

儿子目前7岁，上小学2年级。

自己目前面临两个选择：

1. 美国的博士后，2.5万美元。
2. 日本的公司职员，5.5万美元。

我该选择哪一个呢？

为了儿子，是应该选择美国吗？

日本这边的教育方式，公立学校属宽松式教育，不上私塾，将来肯定考不上大学。
上私塾的话，每年费用1万美元。

美国的教育方式和费用如何呢？
各位高人能否指点一下迷津，我是已经身陷此山中，不知了去路。
