Stay in Japan if you are chemistry and biologist. If you do postdoctor in USA, you will not have time to take care of your son. Based on you salary, you just can survival in usa. However, your kid will not go to good school. If you are IT industry, you may have more opportunity in USA after postdoctoral training. Postdoctor is not job or extremly unstable.
