她营造了气氛后(很喜欢这个工作,etc),问人家这个职位的工资range,人家说, confidential.”
Sure, Sure, Sure, I am glad you use the world confidential. I will keep out talk as confidential. However as I know, the salary range shouldn’t be confidential. I don’t mind talk this issue with your manager, if you feel you are uncomfortable to talk it with me.

“ 朋友接着说,根据我的资历, 当地业界的标准, 我期待的是这个数($XXX), 当然比offer信上要高一截,能不能考虑给我长$XXX.
人家很干脆地说, 我不能告诉你range,但是你的这个工资数目是final的了.”

You know as a professional, I always setup high standard for myself and try my best to reach it. If I do not do my work of today’s talking, I feel something is missing. Can I make a appointment with your manager, or with whoever can make the decision, I really want to have the chance to talk with the big boss before I start.

Thanks for answer my request. The amount I am asking is a small number for a company, but it is a relatively big difference for me, because that number will reflect my real value. I fully understand, I think the whole reason you do not give me the raise is you are not sure if I can deliver the top quality of the work and if I really worth the amount I am asking. I fully understand. How about we do this: give me three/six months of time, I will show you what kind of professional I am , then after three/six months, if I deliver I I promised, you meet my salary requirement at that time. I am sure you want your tem member to be happy. Can we write this down on the offer letter?

She is doing well in her FIRST. 人家文化人, 能说出那要饭的话, 已经不知经过什么样的思想斗争呢? 还是老师你没教好啊!
