要放弃Tenure Track回国了

老婆：比较想呆在美国。但是这里还没工作，她是文科，这里不太好找工作，可能回国发展会更有前途一些。但是她喜欢这边的一份恬静。

父母和孩子：父母６３了，我是独子，去年母亲动手术，也没能回去照顾她。心里非常歉疚。未来的10－30年是他们有生之年。我知道我在美国多挣钱可以让他们在国内有更好的医疗保障，但是我知道他们缺的更是亲情和关爱，病床前的一点关心可能比一针进口药剂更重要。春节有7年没和他们一起过了，不知道这个遗憾何时能补偿。我真的不想看到子欲养而亲不在情况。２个孩子都是生在美国，回去读书是可以的。大的还没读小学。从孩子教育和医疗来讲，留在美国比较好。但是对于父母来讲，就是nightmaire，他们来过美国，根本就不喜欢这里。

事业：在美国是Tenure-Track Asst Prof，有grant。这边只有再努力3年就可能上了。去年回国，我和国内导师讲早晚要回国发展因为父母在国内。他说晚回不如早回，现在他是国内这个学科的头头，退休还有3－4年，正好发挥一下余热推我上去。建议我不要优柔寡断，可惜国内给的工资只有美国的1/3.

看看美国刚买的House,自家绿绿的草坪，想想要离开了，要回到小小的公寓，接着骑我的大28, 确实有些不是滋味。。
