it is tough, nobody knows how things would turn out.

if you don't go, you would always wonder "what if", if you go, and things don't work out well, then you will regret. that is why it is so tough.

there is no guarantee no matter where we are,though.

maybe you can go and try out, but keep your option open in US, keep your green card, or citizenship, so you can come back always. With Green card, you can not be away for more than 6 months a year. that would be complciated.

maybe you can go there in the summer to "test the water", then decide.
