Got high fever and cough last week (from cold or flu). Went to emergency care. The doctor did a chess X-ray as a standard procedure. Here is result “…PA and lateral views of the chest show some mild nodule prominence of the right Hilum. It is mildly dense and may represent calcified lymph nodes. There is no underlying infiltrate or consolidation...” The emergency care doctor recommended a CT scan and suggested me to follow up with my primary doctor. Went to see my primary doctor today. She suggest that instead of doing a CT scan, she think I should wait for another month to do a chess X-ray again. She did not request to view the X-ray picture from my emergency care. I wonder if she is correct or I should request a CT?
