The oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT, 糖耐量试验)) measures the body's ability to use a type of sugar, called glucose, that is the body's main source of energy. An OGTT can be used to diagnose prediabetes and diabetes.  An OGTT is most commonly done to check for early diabetes. 

The A1C test measures your average blood glucose control for the past 2 to 3 months. 又称糖化血红蛋白.
