Although BMI can be used for most men and women, it does have some limits:
- It may overestimate body fat in athletes and others who have a muscular build. (说白了就是正常的运动员体制BMI可能偏重)
- It may underestimate body fat in older persons and others who have lost muscle. (说白了就是正常BMI的老人还是有肥胖的可能)
