It may not be cancer. But you do need to see ENT. Not sure what kind of insurance you have, can you ask the biopsy to be scheduled earlier? By the way, did the doctor check your neck as well?

Generally speaking, this type of cancer at early stage can be cured(surgery and radiation are the two most effective treatment.
