评微波仙子转贴的第一篇文章的第一部分

仙子已经说了，这种东西不能全信。但是事关健康，不能不认真。所以我认真研究了一下。

“美国科学研究院正式宣布：转基因食品严重危害人体健康”

美国并没有一个机构叫做美国科学研究院，这个短语应该理解成“美国的一个科学研究院”，也就是下面说的“环境医学科学研究院”

 

“2009年5月，美国环境医学科学研究院推出报告称：“一些动物实验表明，食用转基因食品有严重损害健康的风险，包括不育，免疫问题，加速老化，胰岛素的调节和主要脏腑及胃肠系统的改变”。美国科学院环境医学研究院得出的结论引起了轰动。”

这是真的，英文的报道是这样的：

 

On May 19^th, the American Academy of Environmental Medicine (AAEM) called on “Physicians to educate their patients, the medical community, and the public to avoid GM (genetically modified) foods when possible and provide educational materials concerning GM foods and health risks.”[1] They called for a moratorium on GM foods, long-term independent studies, and labeling. AAEM’s position paper stated, “Several animal studies indicate serious health risks associated with GM food,” including infertility, immune problems, accelerated aging, insulin regulation, and changes in major organs and the gastrointestinal system. They conclude, “There is more than a casual association between GM foods and adverse health effects. There is causation,”as defined by recognized scientific criteria. “The strength of association and consistency between GM foods and disease is confirmed in several animal studies.”

”报告强烈建议：转基因食品对病人有严重的安全威胁，号召成员医生不要让他们的病人食用转基因食品，并教育所在社区民众尽量避免食用转基因食品。”

 

[杜评：]

第一句翻译不当，可能会让人理解成转基因食品只是对抵抗力差的病人有威胁，其实原文就是对健康有潜在的危险，还需要进一步研究，因此号召大家（所有人）不要吃。之所以提到病人是因为美国的家庭医生制度，每一个人都是某位医生的“病人”。

 

“对于转基因的的侵害原理，研究院指出：插入到转基因大豆里的基因会转移到生活在我们肠道里的细菌的DNA里面去，并继续发挥作用。这意味着吃了之后，我们虽然不吃转基因食物，在我们体内仍然不断产生有潜在危害的基因蛋白质，“说透彻一点，吃转基因玉米，会把我们的肠道细菌转变成生活着的农药制造厂，可能直至我们死为止”。”

这不是报告原文，而是参考文献中的观点，大家可以看原文参考文献的第九篇。除此之外，英文关于这篇报告的报道还提到另外一个有关的研究：

究竟是哪篇文章中的，我没有查。这个东西很重要，希望以后可以讨论。

 

“报告发布后，美国卫生部2009年底也发表科学论文，指明转基因食品可对内脏造成伤害。”

美国没有卫生部，只有卫生和公众服务部。一个政府机构不大可能会发表科学论文。而且转基因食品是由美国食品药品管理局FDA、农业部和环境部负责，在网上我无法找到这篇“论文”，只能怀疑不存在这样一个东西。 

 

“据美国国家科学基金会的调研报告显示，多数民众对转基因持有负面态度和怀疑态度。”

这也是真的，但是报告也显示，和欧洲比较，更多的美国人不知道他们在吃转基因食品，负面的态度低于欧洲。而2000年的调查显示，虽然一半美国人认为转基因食品有风险，但是70%的人支持转基因在农业的应用。

 

“其实，早在2008年，美国科学家便证实了长时间喂食转基因玉米的小白鼠免疫系统会受到损害，该研究成果发表在同年《农业与食品化学》杂志上。”

This study evaluated the gut and peripheral immune response to genetically modified (GM) maize in mice in vulnerable conditions. Weaning and old mice were fed a diet containing MON810 or its parental control maize or a pellet diet containing a GM-free maize for 30 and 90 days. The immunophenotype of intestinal intraepithelial, spleen, and blood lymphocytes of control maize fed mice was similar to that of pellet fed mice. As compared to control maize, MON810 maize induced alterations in the percentage of T and B cells and of CD4+, CD8+, cdT, and abT subpopulations of weaning and old mice fed for 30 or 90 days, respectively, at the gut and peripheral sites. An increase of serum IL-6, IL-13, IL-12p70, and MIP-1b after MON810 feeding was also found. These results suggest the importance of the gut and peripheral immune response to GM crop ingestion as well as the age of the consumer in the GMO safety evaluation.

 

同年4月，美国政府主管食品药品的部门FDA宣布撤消它在数年前颁布的CRY 9C转基因玉米种植的工业指南，主要原因之一，就是该转基因作物对人类健康安全有严重威胁。”

“在美国，转基因食品虽然不做标识，但是经过官方鉴定的非转基因食品，也就是天然有机食品都会打上明确标识。”

非常错误，天然有机食品和非转基因食品是两个不同的概念。Organic食品应当是非转基因食品，但是非转基因食品不一定是天然有机食品。

 

这篇文章很重要，值得进一步讨论。
