Regarding the water we drink first thing in the morning

If I cook my water in the morning, it will be too hot to drink, and if too hot, we will have to eat breakfast and drink water later.

So I usually cook water at night around 11pm, and let it cool by itself, then me and my kids drink the water in the morning.

Anyone know if this kind of water safe to drink? is it too long for boiled water to stay there overnight?
