Don't worry, some 80+ are still running marathon... running is very tricky though. If you run forefoot strike and increase your distance too fast, you'll have lower leg and/or foot injuries :-(

Do you run heel strike (heels touch the ground first?) If yes, then you are destined to get joint injury. Even for walking, don't walk very long distance suddenly. Increase your speed and distance slowly to build up your joint strength.
