口腔溃疡

我先生长口腔溃疡已有几年了。 他一直喷西瓜霜，但只能管一时。有时不小心牙齿咬到嘴，也会变成溃疡，一直好不了。请问这是什么原因。 我叫他去看医生，他总是说是火气引起的，喷西瓜霜就好了。请问需要看医生吗？谢谢！
