And if it doesnt say where it is made, I assume it is made in china.

for example, this was all that was on the Vanilla Wafers box "may contain trace amount of milk. ... Distributed by Aldi Inc, Batavia, IL 60510-1477" - where was it made? I am almost sure it was not Illinois.
