No one should say diagnostic tool based on x-ray is useless, but patients should know there is a potential risk and make their own informed decision. This way, at least they may try to avoid unnecessary risk.

Doctors need to be honest up front with the cancer risk of x-ray, which is recognized finally by the US government. Scaring patients away from using diagnostic tools based on x-ray would affect the income of a hospital. But for God's sake, let the patient make their decision.
