American Cancer Society boasts that more 70 percent of cancer can be cured if they are found early (meaning you should participate in screening program and send money regularly to hospitals). They are referring to mostly the low risk skin cancer. Among skin cancers, they can't handle melanoma equally well. There is no significant progress in treating many of other types of cancer.
