1. Like page mentioned, the more important info is LDL, HDL, triglycerol, not just total cholesterol.
2. In addition, do you have any other risk factors, like diabetes, heart problem, high blood pressure, or smoking, etc?
3. If everything is normal, you do not have to worry about it until LDL > 160. Of course, a healthy diet and regular excercise will be good for everybody no matter what. :)
