thanks for the low-down. the problem is that good primary

care docs are overbooked, and sometime there are 2-yr waiting list (like my current doc). if i don't fork out the $-thousand/yr (on top of already expensive insurance) to join his membership service, i'd be on a limbo. with the managed care driving the cost so hard, the smart docs like him is finding ways to beat the system, obviously at (potentially) my cost.

The medical cost does not make sense any more. All my physician friends complain about lower pay/longer hours, and our insurance keeps going up (except the lst yr). The money gets sucked into a blackhole, so it seems.
