Yes, yes, and it is very common. Solo practice is facing less revenue and arising costs -- not to mention the ever increasing skyrocking malpractice insurance cost. Unless of cause the solo guy has good patient base and the population has excellent insurance infiltrations.

So they are "forming" group-practices which include general practitioners as well as specialty guys. Or they can high nersing practitioners not MDs.

Peds is among the worst.
