Calm down. The H hospital most likely charged you as self-pay patient which is typically higher. Let your insurance carrier deal with them (I'm 100% sure they won't pay 70% of THAT amount, and that is why there exist insurance companies, HMOs, etc...). Even you have to pay a portion of it, again, it is not going to be a portion of that amount. Remember to ask your insurance company the number they agreed on with the H hospital.
You definately can argue with H that they did not reveal the fact that H is not a in-network facility of your insurance carrier to you before the surgery. But do it later when you need it.
