I have the same problem. Fortunately my hu*****and is not very interested in ML either. But I still feel that we lost our normal life. We could only make perfect ML after long time seperation otherwise no feeling at all.
Well, I tried your choice 1 and 3 but not working. Actually I feel that the more time you spend on Number 3 the less interest you have in ML.
