我很小就开始玩相机，不过是一种另类的玩法。我母亲在苏联留学时买了部35MM旁轴相机。那相机有个棕色的皮套套着。放在桌上时就像是个没炮管的坦克车。当我玩游戏需要坦克的时候，相机就出动了。直到长大了，明白了一些照像的要点后，才开始用那辆没炮管的坦克车去Shoot。那时的拍照也就限于家人同学之中，属偶尔为之的活动。不是熟人不开炮，也绝不对着无人风景放空炮。拍出来的照片就送到照相馆去冲印。35MM的片子只印不放大，印出来也就邮票的大小。到后来实在不能从邮票尺寸的相片中得到满足，就找暗房自己做些冲洗放大。直到八十年代初彩色冲印开始流行，3.5寸的彩照让自己冲放的那些黑白照成了灰姑娘，加上父亲从日本带回来一个理光全自动带闪光傻瓜机，我就此告别了老坦克和黑白暗房，开始傻瓜技术欢乐多的照相时代。

真正开始对照相有更多讲究开始于数码相机时代。2000年我们买了个数码相机SONY S70。这个相机有3.3M像素用Carl Zeiss镜头，色彩和成像非常好。那时的数码相机还不算普及，因此在一些活动和聚会后经常要和大家分享照片。总不能把拿不出手的东西拿出手，压力之下就多做了点研究。慢慢地也感觉到不能老是跟着傻瓜走，还是要做相机的主人。2007年自愿上了贼船，买了Nikon D80。

不像坛子里的大侠，对摄影有着披星戴月，纵横山海的刻苦和勤奋。我现在对摄影还是处在一种酒后冲动的阶段。偶尔来来劲，有机会就拍。我定义自己是个照相机会主义者，还没到达真正摄影的高度。机会对我来说就像是制造冲动的酒，有了机会才会有照相的冲动。在日复一日的生活中，舞台演出，体育比赛，外出旅游都有着令人期待的机会。这也是我拍照最多的几个领域。

我希望今后在摄坛的半浮半潜之中，能吸取到更多的营养，特别是在风光和人像方面。风光贵在勤奋，人像需要交流。这两方面都是我的弱处。摄坛大侠们的刻苦勤奋和放出的毒片已让我渐渐地感受到了他们对苦与乐的联系。咖啡虽苦可以提神。我想只有我也有了越苦越来劲的感觉，也能不睡懒觉，也能从披星戴月踏雪卧冰的拍摄中品尝到欢愉，我才能算是个真正脱离了照相机会主义的人，一个到达一定摄影高度的人。

 

 

提起Purplereed（紫芦苇），我想大家就会立马想起他的舞台摄影。他在文学城发的作品虽然不是很多，但每次贴出来都引起大家的共鸣，同声叫好。仔细捉摸，不难看出他的舞台作品就是与众不同：光色细腻，构图独到，抓拍到位，气氛融洽。把艺术家们的思想和情绪都表现得淋漓至尽，给人以美的享受。这不是一般人能做得到的。最近，有幸也拍了两次舞台表演。真可谓不拍不知道，一拍吓一跳。舞台的灯光变化无常，色温和曝光都很难控制到位。出来的片子不是过曝，就是欠曝，很难出几张像样的片子。由此可见，Purplereed在舞台摄影方面的造诣不同一般。实际上，Purplereed在休斯敦早已名声大作。休斯敦世界名人网上常常有他的大作。他还是休斯敦许多艺术学校，单位及团体的特约摄影家。他的作品在休斯敦可以说是家喻户晓，人人皆知哈。

原以为Purplereed只拍舞台。看了其的作品后方知他在风光，旅游摄影方面也很有造诣。“牧场春花”（#5）给我的印象异常深刻。这张片子的构图，曝光，色彩的处理都非常到位。德州野花在初升的阳光下显得格外的美。远处的晨雾让牧场更显得神秘，恬静。好一幅田园风光。咱在德州多年，就是没出一张这样的美图，令人惭愧。其他片子（如#7）也很让人惊艳。更难得的是他最近对打鸟也有兴趣，虽然只有把短枪，但也把那白鹭，玫瑰篦鹭表现得栩栩如生。显而易见，这都是因为他有一双非常艺术的眼睛。

我俩虽然同住一城（我住在城东，他住在城西），毕竟摄影只是个爱好，平时大家都为了养家糊口各忙各的。难得有机会见面。两年前，我们都送女儿到同一所学校参加数学夏令营。因为互不相识，结果是擦肩而过。直到几个星期前，我们在休斯敦的摄友才有机会欢聚一堂，共同商议摄影大事。见面前，一直认为Purplereed是位资深的摄影家，有丰富的阅历和经验。见面后又让我大吃一惊。在我们几位摄友中，他是最年轻的一位。他为人谦逊，是一看就让人喜欢的那种。说他是位风华正茂，年轻有为的才子，一点都不夸张。可以预见在不久的将来，他会有更多让人惊艳的作品展现在大家的面前。请大家试目以待吧！
