请帮我看看俺女儿还有希望爬藤吗？？

不好意思，起个抓眼球的标题再问。这里好像都得和爬藤沾上啊。：-）

女儿今年刚上K。收到学校的信，建议女儿去上ESL。我女儿的情况是这样的，在美国出生长大，不到一岁就开始去daycare,一路一直到去年上了学区的pre-K,我们觉得她英文应该没问题，也从来没有老师来提过这事。看女儿测试报告上的performance level是proficient,不知道为什么还要推荐她上ESL。信中也提到我们可以选择拒绝去ESL。

不知道有没有人碰到过类似的情况，或者知道ESL的情况，能不能分享一下想法和经历。我们对ESL一点不了解，会去学校进一步了解情况再做决定，同时也希望能参考一下这里过来人的经验。谢谢。
